Company - General

 Grip-Tech (Pty) Ltd was established in 1997 and actively develops and manufactures engineering products and solutions.

We have advanced design and manufacturing facilities in Johannesburg, South Africa, and also manufacture high volume components in Shanghai, China. We are approved suppliers to well known companies and most distributors.

 We support the aims of BBBEE and currently have Level 4 recognition. Thus 100% of the value of purchases from our company can be carried onto your scorecard.

Manufacturing

We have CAD, CAM design, development and CNC equipment manufacturing facilities in Johannesburg, South Africa and also manufacture high volume components in Shanghai, China. We are approved suppliers to well known companies including FORD MOTOR COMPANY, DeBis (Daimler-Chrysler), Assa Abloy (Yale) and most distributors.

Automotive

We produce a variety of vehicle security products and other components for the automotive industry, including Auto-Grip^® Gearlocks, Mini-Pinlocks and Vehicle-specific security products. Our wheel locks for Cars, SUVs, Heavy Commercial Trucks, Trailers, and spare wheel locks are currently the only locks approved by VESA’s Accreditation Bureau of Security and Safety (ABS). We are members of the National Association of Automotive Component and Allied Manufacturers of SA (NAACAM), and the Vehicle Security Association of SA (VESA).
