Our range of Pinlocks are cost effective mechanical
immobilisers that are recommended by the majority of South African and worldwide
insurance companies. They are specially designed to prevent the unauthorised
movement of vehicles by locking the transmission gear lever in a predetermined
position, preferably the Reverse, or Park gear. These concealed gearshift
locks are manufactured in South Africa and developed with many years experience
in creating effective security solutions.
These Pinlocks are supplied with all the required mounting
shear bolts and other hardware for the mounting brackets. They can be fitted
to any vehicle by a fitting centre with optional flat pinlock
mounting brackets that are available in various lengths and can be
bent to suit the make of vehicle. We recommend and supply the correct vehicle-specific
brackets for popular vehicles, and will assist with installation instructions.
Several options are available, including the
South African VESA specification that is rated one of the toughest world-wide.
Our Gearlocks can also be customised under your brand name and to suit your
needs.
